Positive: Loved this property! We just spent 2.5 weeks in Japan and stayed in a total of 7 properties. This was one of our favorites and probably the only property where we felt like we could spend an extended time. Set up super well for families: downstairs had a full bath, laundry, great kitchen and a living/lounge area. Upstairs there were two good size bedrooms, a full bath and a bonus tatami room. The property was super clean and modern. The bathrooms smelled like lemons! Automated bidet toilet downstairs that opened when you walked into the bathroom. Laundry machine worked great. They supplied basic cooking necessities (oil, salt, pepper, foil, Saran, etc), bathing amenities and laundry soap. Lots of blankets and pillows and very comfy beds. The windows even had special darkening shades to keep the room dark at night. Location was just off the main road on a cute alley with a couple of restaurants and very close to the main shopping street and the deer park, one of the highlights of our trip. The host was fantastic at communicating. And on our last day when we had to go to the train, it was pouring rain and difficult to get a taxi so she even had a friend come with our car to pick us up. Amazing! Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Nara. Highly recommend!

Negative: Nothing. Had everything! Loved it. Maybe a couple of hooks to hang up wet towels…that’s it.
