Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Good stay in a decent location in Amed though need a bike really to visit the other beaches. But walkable to some nice restaurants and breakfast spots. Comfortable bed and nice big room with a great view over rice terraces and can see the sea. Greeted with a welcome drink which was a nice surprise. No daily cleaning but provided with anything if we asked. Great price too very affordable.
Negative: Needs a very deep clean and to hire a proper cleaner. On our first night we had a huge ant infestation, hundreds of ants in the room and bathroom. I think more frequent cleaning would prevent this. We also had lots of spiders and cobwebs in the room proving that cleaning is not that great, especially in the corners of the room. Lots of stains on towels and sheets too. Fridge was filthy. No shampoo or soap when we checked in. Yes there is construction next door which blocks the volcano view. It was not disruptive during our stay however it brought lots of dust onto the property, on the balcony and on the sitting area overlooking the rice fields. There was also lots of dust in the room when we checked in. AC also not that strong the room never felt cold.
Summary: Overall a good comfortable stay but I would be happy to pay a little bit more for there to be proper cleaning.
