Summary: Checkin was an ipad. No people. Hotels.com never gave me my booking reference for the hotel so we couldnt check in. Finally found a way to contact what appears to be a Rakuten call centre and they gave me my booking ref. I had to then manually enter loads of info, photograph passports and faces of all guests, on a fixed ipad with kids is hard. Worst checkin process of any hotel ive stayed in. However the rooms were very nice.
